Support for Tokushima Prefecture’s Tourism Promotion “Trade Show / Seminar & Networking” Event

Project Overview：

We held a Tokushima Prefecture-related event at Japan Expo Thailand 2024, the largest Japan-related event in Thailand, to encourage more Thai tourists to visit the prefecture. The event promoted Tokushima’s fascinating local culture, including the Awa Odori dance, abundant nature, and delicious food. Mediator supported the exhibition, seminar, and networking event to facilitate exchanges between Thai travel companies and Tokushima Prefecture officials.

Work Details：

• Supported the exhibition at JAPAN EXPO THAILAND 2024
• Organized a tourism seminar and networking event for local travel agents, and invited guest speakers
• Designed the booth and created brochures
• Recruited interpreters and an MC
• Managed the stage performance
• Coordinated with Thai travel companies

For this event, we not only supported the exhibitors at JAPAN EXPO THAILAND but also organized a seminar with influencers who had previously traveled to Tokushima, who shared their experiences as guest speakers. Following the seminar, we arranged a networking dinner to create an opportunity for further discussion. Additionally, we organized an Awa Odori performance on stage, inviting Japanese university students to join in the dance. Events like this require careful planning and the flexibility to adapt to daily circumstances.
