Sustainable Business Seminar for Carbon Neutrality 2023

Project Overview：

To address energy supply and climate change, Asian countries must implement a unique energy transition strategy. Japan has proposed the “Asia Zero Emission Community (AZEC)” initiative, in which Thailand has joined to strengthen the relationship between the two countries. In line with the policy goals of both nations to achieve carbon neutrality, JETRO collaborated with Thai government agencies to host an online seminar and online business matching event. The goal was to support the creation of sustainable businesses that contribute to carbon neutrality.

Work Details：

• Organized the online seminar
• Coordinated the online business matching sessions
• Compiled information and products from participating Japanese companies to create a trilingual catalog (Japanese, Thai, and English), which was published on the JETRO Bangkok website

The online seminar was attended by over 400 people, and 98% of respondents considered it very useful. Additionally, the number of participants in the online business matching sessions exceeded the target, which demonstrates significant interest in “carbon neutrality” and “sustainable business.”

We believe that close and continuous collaboration with clients leads to a deeper mutual understanding, which contributed to the successful results of this project.
