Project Overview:

The purpose of this project was to promote tourism for the Kansai Regional Union (2 major cities, 8 prefectures, and 4 designated cities). We organized a seminar in Bangkok for government agencies, including the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Thai Travel Agents Association, followed by a reception. This provided an opportunity for attendees to exchange information and learn about the unique features and charms of each prefecture and city. The event also promoted EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, showcasing the overall appeal of the Kansai region.

Work Details:

  • Planned and created the overall work plan
  • Secured the hotel venue
  • Arranged for interpreters
  • Managed on-site operations (setup/takedown, registration, presentations, etc.)
  • Created documents for all relevant parties (operation manual, transportation documents, and MC scripts)

The Governor of Kyoto Prefecture, as well as representatives from the prefectures of Tokushima, Tottori, Shiga, Wakayama, Nara, Osaka, and Kyoto, visited Thailand to promote the charm of the Kansai region. The reception included a lucky draw with souvenirs from each prefecture. Our team was involved in this event from the initial planning and client coordination to the final execution, which resulted in a high degree of client satisfaction.

This event had many Japanese participants, including officials from various prefectures and cities. We had to continuously refine and coordinate our plan right up to the day of the event. We were able to get through this with everyone's cooperation, which made us even stronger as a team.
