The celebration for the Emperor of Japan’s Birthday in 2023 was held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), marking the first reception in three years since the COVID-19 pandemic. The event was attended by over 1,341 guests, including government officials and prominent figures from the Thai economic sector, such as Don Pramudwinai, former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Chadchart Sittipunt, the Governor of Bangkok.
The hall was filled with booths from 41 Japanese companies, local governments, and independent organizations. It was surrounded by a wide variety of Japanese food and drinks, including sushi and sake, to promote the “all-Japan” concept. On stage, performances were given by the Royal Thai Navy Orchestra and the Bangkok Glee Club, as well as Japanese artists like Ballistik Boyz and Psychic Fever. Mediator was entrusted with managing the event setup, coordinating with performers, and overseeing all operations.
Mediator was entrusted with preparing the venue at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (e.g., booth layout, stage preparation, power supply checks) and compiling the list of exhibiting organizations. Despite this being a large-scale reception with a significant number of guests, we were able to successfully and smoothly execute the event by maintaining close and detailed communication with the embassy and representatives from each of the participating organizations.
