  • Date :

    Monday, July 8 – Friday, July 12, 2019

  • Client :

The Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, Japan (SMRJ)

  • Service Category :

    Business Matching, Market Reserch, Exhibition

Project Overview:

This project involved a delegation of representatives from Japanese small and medium-sized companies in the medical field who traveled to Thailand. Their mission was to explore business expansion by gathering information through on-site visits and finding new business partners. Mediator was entrusted with the planning and entire operation, including coordinating on-site visits to Thai companies and managing the exhibition booth at “Medical Devices ASEAN 2019,” an international medical innovation trade show, as well as overseeing business matching sessions.

Work Details:

  • Coordinated with Thai companies to schedule on-site visits and meetings
  • Organized a domestic business matching orientation
  • Created and managed the JGood-Tech page for internal communication (e.g., collecting information from Japanese companies and translating it into Thai)
  • Scheduled and coordinated business matching sessions
  • Managed booth setup and on-site operations at the exhibitio
  • Managed advertising and public relations
  • Conducted follow-ups after the exhibition

Mediator was entrusted with the planning and on-site management of the event, working closely with Arc-Enterprise, the Japanese representative. Given the highly technical nature of the business matching sessions, Mediator carefully selected potential business partners from its company’s matching list that aligned with the participants’ business strategies. A key focus of this project was to increase opportunities for direct networking with key decision-makers and create connections between the participating companies and relevant industry associations.

Mediator recognized that it was crucial to foster continuous collaboration among the participating companies, ensuring that business expansion continued even after the project’s official conclusion.

Visiting various companies' offices to discuss business opportunities and expand networks in Thailand can be likened to "sowing seeds." The more seeds you sow, the more business opportunities you create. Mediator places great importance on conducting thorough follow-ups and addressing any gaps in the business matching schedule to ensure everything runs smoothly.
